in oakland. three people were killed in two separate incidents. a double shooting and a stabbing. alex savidge is live on walnut street where a woman was killed a few hours ago. >> this is still an active crime scene for oakland police. what they found here this morning was a woman that was stabbed to death. it's all playing out. the crime scene located inside this apartment building that is up the road here from us on the right hand side. you can see at least one squad car is parked outside. we want to show you video we shot in the last half hour. woman's body was found inside the second floor unit. this all began according to a sergeant when a neighborhood called 911 around 2:30 this morning. officers arrived and found a woman with multiple stab wounds. she eventually died here on scene. police have taken a man into custody who may have been responsible for the killings but at this point the sergeant tells me the motive for this stabbing remains unclear. meantime on the other side of the city oakland police are piecing together a shooting that left two people dead. the gunfire in tha
. >>> this is a look at highway 24 through lafayette. and 880 near the oakland coliseum traffic is moving pretty well. it is wet out there. we do have an accident we want to tell you about coming up in a couple minutes. let's head back to the desk. >>> topping our news this morning police in berkeley are still on the scene where a bicyclist was shot and killed outside of a middle school. we will take you out there live at the scene you can see what is going on. this is long fellow middle school. police rushed there after reports of the shooting. they are still out there collecting evidence and looking for clues. a man on a bicycle was shot at least once on the the street. there is no word of motive. >>> four people were shot and wounded near oakland lake merritt and they are being treated for serious injuries. claudine wong is outside the oakland police headquarters with the very latest details on their condition. >> reporter: i talked to to an oakland police sergeant within the last hour. still very early on. keep in mind there is two different crime scenes. officers have been to both crime scenes.

that steady stream of traffic sneaking its way back up westbound. up next a look here at 880 near the oakland coliseum. you can see traffic flowing well in both directions. >>> a man is in the hospital after falling about 30 feet inside the coliseum in last nights raiders game. christien kafton is at the oakland coliseum with the investigation. good morning, christien. >> reporter: i have been texting the sheriffs office trying to find out more about this. here's what we do know during or right before last nights game a fan was on the third deck there. you can see how high that deck is there and either fell or jumped to the lower concourse below. the fan fell an estimated 30-50 feet to land on the concrete below. that fan fell during last nights raiders-broncos game. emt, police, and sheriffs deputies were on scene and able to respond quickly. there are conflicting reports over whether that fan fell or jumped. emergency workers took that fan to highland hospital just 3.5 miles away with serious injuries. his identity has not been released at this point. the raiders have released a statement s

investigation, lorraine blanco ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> and the latest round of violence in oakland has claimed the life of a grandmother. tara moriarty is in oakland and tells us the woman is believed to have been an innocent bystander, good morning, tara. >> reporter: this marks the 124th homicide of the year and it is the latest to happen off of international boulevard. the woman was walking to the store on the 9100 block when she was caught in the crossfire between the two people on the other side of the street. the grandmother was walking with a relative when she was struck and killed. a long time friend knew her and said she lived just four blocks away from the for and cared for her elderly mother. police have made no arrests and they are trying to find out what caused the gun fighting and it left 10 shell casings after that shooting more gunfire erupted and he drove himself to the hospital where he was later transported to hyland hospital. they do not believe the two shootings are related and coming up, we will tell you what the victim of the -- the two children of the victim had
